Do not be alarmed at not seeing the first letter in “christ” being capitalized, for this is not Christ Jesus our Lord. This is a false “christ,” one of many that we are warned about in the Bible (Matthew 24:24). This false “christ” does not come, however, with signs and wonders but hidden within a cloak of deception. This “christ” was conceived from the lips of the serpent who deceived Eve in the Garden of Eden and has been passed down from generation to generation within the hearts of men and is still being whispered into the ears of the saints to this day.

The “cosmic christ” or also known as “christ consciousness” is a theory that is gaining ground in the Church at an alarming rate. At first glance, belief in a “cosmic christ,”appears to be a wonderful revelation, advancing the love of Jesus, but a closer look will reveal that this theory is nothing more than the “oldest lie” ever told, re-packaged and is leading people away from God as it did from the very beginning.
I invite you to join in exploring the Bible in uncovering the truth concerning this movement. We will also look into the life of St. Francis of Assisi, who the proponents of this movement love to quote as a champion for their cause.
