Finding the "Greater Good" in this world means to reach within ourselves and pull it to the surface. There isn't a single person that doesn't have goodness in them. Whether it has been left to itself to grow on it's own or ignored over the years or just not used, it is instilled into each and every one of us. I have yet to meet the person who didn't want to be a better person. Who didn't want to be something more for themselves or to be something more for at least someone that they cared about. Who didn't want to leave a positive lasting mark on this world.
So this is more or less a "How to" book, to help guide you on your path to being a better person, better neighbor, better citizen, better human. Many complain that we didn't come with an instruction book, so here is one that is being offered to help you on your way. Now while these are listed they are not spelled out. The expectation is that you as the reader will take it upon yourself to incorporate which ever ones you choose, be it one or all of them, into your life, your comfort zone and make them your own. This will not only give you a sense of control but will allow you to keep it going so each one that you choose become not only a habit but a way of life.
I'm sure that you have heard that to change the world you have to start with you. And while this has confused many a person, you no longer have to be one of the confused, you can now become one that leads by example. Not by bragging or by adulation, but by humility likened to others who have committed their lives to others. Some may consider this a roadmap, I consider it a jumping off or starting point.
Being too busy is everyone's reason for not doing at least something, and while you can continue to strum that string, there are things in here that anyone can do, no matter how busy they are. So whether you need a nudge or a headlock to get you going, start the journey, and not only will you be glad that you did, but you'll wonder why it took you so long. Let each step take you further along into your new journey.
