Mary Theresa McDonough B.A. B.Ed. OCT is a wildlife photographer who has travelled extensively throughout many wilderness area throughout the world. This time she has captured the essence of the true wilderness habitats of the animals in the African nations of Kenya and Tanzania and has noted their trusting nature with humans in her close-ups, in a country that doesnt allow any hunting by humans.

She has cofounded her own survival program in Canada called Project Whitewater whereby adolescents were allowed to coexist with nature and its inhabitants and she has noted that in all of her experiences in the wilderness she has rarely experienced danger.

As a teacher she strives to impart the value of recognizing the beauty and nobility of all creatures and the importance of preserving and protecting them at all costs.
