Thirty three year old Nina Kelly is a mother on the edge. After being the victim of several 'unsolved' burglaries her faith in the police has hit an all time low. When her fifteen year old son, Adam is brutally attacked by a local gang boss this is the final straw. Fed up of being trampled all over she decides to take the law in to her own hands with devastatingly violent consequences.

About the author: Leon Freeman was born in South Manchester in 1982. After growing up around criminality in his formative years he eventually became immersed in Manchester's criminal underworld as a young adult. Now several years after turning his life around he has decided to put pen to paper and give readers an authentic taste of the life he was once part of. His aim is to write stories that reflect some of the violence and crimes he has both been a part of and witnessed over the past thirty years.

Quote from the author: "Every character I create in my books are real people that I'm either friends with or have met in my time on the streets. Obviously I change their names and the actual stories I write are mostly fabricated but the characters are very much real people. The benefit I have then when writing is, I know how all the characters would react in the scenario's that I create based on what I know about the actual person in real life."
