Blue Steel Crucifix

When the beautiful confidante of a former Louisiana governor is found floating in a desolate swamp near New Orleans a few days before Christmas 2003, no one in the FBI seems to care, despite her having cooperated on one of their most important investigations. Whoever boldly put two bullets in her head clearly feels immune from scrutiny, and in fact goes on to plan the demise of their next murder target: the mob’s accountant, Antoine Biaggi. Why? Not only did he testify against his former friends, but he also hid incriminating evidence and significant treasures. The mob and a certain governor want all that back, and they are willing to kill for it.

Biaggi’s in federal prison, but always knew how the mob operated because he kept their books and logged in detail who got paid what, when and for what reason. When he refuses to go into the Witness Protection program upon his release, he knows full well that his old “associates” will be waiting for him… and not with a welcome-home party. But no one can dissuade him from returning to New Orleans, and a certain death, because he has a certain plan for vengeance of his own.

When Wilson (Will) Three Eagles, a young Native American law student, is recruited by the FBI, he is assigned to a secret task force that will investigate the pernicious grip of organized crime on both Louisiana’s public officials and on the FBI, itself. As he is trained and put into place in the seductive, corrupt, and complex city of New Orleans, Will finds himself in the crosshairs of Biaggi and the mob, the ex-governor and even his own new colleagues who are all on a collision course over stolen secrets and valuable records. As this thrilling sting unfolds in the murderous back alleys of the French Quarter, and as the Sicilian and Russian crime bosses try to out-maneuver Louisiana’s politically corrupt, the young Special Agent discovers his true abilities and many others find redemption through a blue steel crucifix.
