Tracy Pike didn't set out to be a spy, but ultimately follows in her father's footsteps to become one of the Agency's top agents. When Tracy's father goes missing and possibly murders a fellow agent, her comfortable world turns upside down. The Agency wants John Pike killed or captured and she’s caught in the middle. Tracy defies orders and takes off on a renegade mission to bring her father back alive.

Complicating matters is her ex-boyfriend, Michael Dodge, who lends support. A fire still burns between them. As they sort out their feelings, bullets fly and the tension mounts. Tracy won't let her father go without getting answers. Face-to-face. Father-to-daughter. And if it turns out her father has betrayed not only the Agency but the country he pledged his life to . . . then Tracy will have to make the hardest decision of her life.
