A warning to women! A charming man can be very enticing. That is lovely. It can feel wonderful to have attention and adulation. Please check out your own self esteem just in case it needs work and not the kind of boost that flattery gives you.

Now I am not saying that only men commit domestic violence. Yes, women can be abusive too. What I do believe is that there is more of a mask when a man is charming - it hides a need for control. Aggression looks like control and can be easy to spot. Passive aggression is harder to notice. Charm can be so seductive that you don't even see the little signs of their need for control.

Charm is not the same as being a nice, kind, caring person. It is more pleasing and done to obtain the object of the man's desire. You may find it difficult to get out of that relationship so please take a long hard look before jumping in!
