The contents of this work fully dissects the United States budget, and a majority of social programs. By taking an in depth look at our current structure, we can recognize the problems, and begin a plan to change our broken systems. With problems being ignored by politicians over the last several decades, our nation is now at a crossroads. Either we come together and create a system that works, or our nation may cease to function all together.

The only way to remove corruption, and fix our political system is by the implementation of a constitutional amendment. Seeing as how one is needed, the goal should be to fix as many problems as possible. For this reason, my amendment proposal will do the following: force Congress to make a balanced budget, raise the minimum wage to $15.00 an hour, increase benefits for Social Security and Disability, replace all health insurers with a single-payer system run by the Department of Health and Human Services, and restructure our federal election process and campaign contributions. Only by discussing solutions, can a plan be created to move our nation forward.
