Dr. Hector R. Ortiz is a motivational speaker and consultant in diversity, leadership development, and communication, translation, and interpretation services. He currently serves as Community Liaison and Contract Manager of Dauphin County‘s Office of Human Services. Dr. Ortiz holds a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, a master’s degree in Diplomacy, and a doctorate in International Relations. Hector is the President of H & R Communication & Consulting Services. He also is the founder and former president ofEstamos Unidos de PA, a grassroots organization created to promote cultural awareness and post-secondary opportunities for kids. An active volunteer in community service, Dr. Ortiz has served on numerous boards. He and his wife Marisol reside in Dauphin County with their two children, Cristhian and Bonnie.
