Danzayemon Chief Of The Etas

“Danzayémon, Chief of the Etas” is a story about a strife of several noble families. They started a war between each other trying to become a chief and rule over the people of the whole country. One time the family of Minamoto fought the family of Taira. Yoshitomo versus Kiyomori. Minamoto has lost the war and the family was ruined. Yoshitomo’s concubine, whose name was Tokiwa, took her children and fled from the house, to save her own and their lives. One of the children was Minamoto no Yoritomo. Tokiwa was so beautiful that when they were found by Kiyomori’s people she said that if Kiyomori would save the children lives she would share his couch. So he did and Yoritomo went to the province of Idzu. After a while Yoritomo left the province, and went to the wars, leaving his wife pregnant. He slew the son of Kiyomori and became a chief.
