I will never forget the day I learned that we were unicorns.  In finance parlance, that meant that we had taken our company from a zero dollar valuation to a brand worth more than one billion dollars.

As an executive who had given nearly ten years of my life to the company I began to reflect on leadership, how this incredible result was achieved, and the fact that even in our happiest moments, leadership agreed that the bigger question was why  we were not a 3 or 5 billion dollar brand?

Much has been written about business leadership.  Much has been written about millennials, but in my research I could not find much about leadership with the millennial generation, and maximizing their contribution to the company.

Our consulting practice was built on the wealth of riches that this millennial generation offers, and many businesses, and entrepreneurs stand to benefit from learning not only how we harnessed the incredible talents of these young people, but how our business leaders inspired their loyalty.

At its heart, this book is about creating a high performance culture, and exploding myths about managing millennials, and how to reach them.

The notion that this millennial generation is a bunch of lazy foodies that live with their parents, belies the incredible power of these high tech, spirited and committed employees.

Finding Lions among Lambs was written to teach leaders who have lost their way how to create a business culture of high performance, transparency, and leadership in an ever changing global economy.
