Twenty-three years after driven from Nauvoo, Illinois, the Mormons now suffer a different invasion in the Utah Territory by forces transported to them. Criminal misfits from other towns enter their community and take over government. Violent attempts of city officials and vice operators to free themselves from a duty-bound sheriffs office bring them face to face with a formidable young deputy. He didnt want the job, and has to sacrifice his dreams to protect his community. Following the history in Notorious Two-Bit Street, a story of human experience is created here from the fantasies of the author-historian.
