Charles Dickens was english writer, novelist and essayist. The classic of the world literature. The Dickens' creations are reffered to heights of realism, but in his novels he reflects sentimental and fabulous origins. The novel "Great Expectations" tells a story of a boy Pip. His parents died early and Pip was raised by his elder sister who took a very low care of him. Once he met a bushranger in a cemetry. The bushranger asked little boy to bring him grub and file. Pip did everything he was told to do becuase was afraid of death. Time flowed and Pip started visiting a strange house of one old lady. The old lady had a granddaughter - Estella. Pip loved Estella realy hard. But he wasn't noble. Actually he was working as a smith. But suddenly he got a letter which was telling that Pip got enough money to go to London to learn being a jentlemen there because the stranger who had sent him money had great expectations. What did Pip decide? And would it be enough to be with Estella?
