It had turned out to be a hot one this early in the spring. John Calm was out cutting the grass, picking weeds and keeping his one-acre lot as nice as possible. Today he was perspiring heavily. He did this every weekend, as his wife Ester thought the kids needed their weekend so they could do better in school. John had grown tired of his wife, and the thought of a divorce came more often these days. But John loved his house, his kids and the garden. He could pack a bag and leave, and be done with it. But John couldn't think of losing the kids or the house, but he needed a divorce. As John was going through his options, he thought about the pills Ester takes every day, what could it be? Something she could die from? One evening down at the pub, John met the guy that owned the local garage. John sat down at his table and started to talk about cars, then he asked what could happen if you drive a car with bad brakes? Ah, you are thinking of your wife's car. Yes, John, they need a new set of brakes. But if you drive carefully and don't put too much pressure on the brakes they could hold for another month. But John, if she puts any pressure on the brake, they might fail. One day John got severe pain in his chest, and his doctor, doctor Graf told him to take one nitroglycerin pill and put it under his tongue, do not swallow the pill. Ester asked if they could afford to have the house painted? Only if it can be done when I leave for Seattle in a week. With a happy smile, Ester said there should be no problems. John thought it sounded funny, so he contacted his attorney Cray Bright, that promised to take care of Johns problems. Everything sounded good, until something he hadn't thought about happened, and ruined his day.
