In 12th century France, the word novel was assigned to all writings that were not written in Latin. On the other hand, in English, the word novel comes from the Italian word novella, which means NEW.
I truly hope I have succeeded in writing such a novel.
I would classify it as a puzzle-novel. In the world of critics of this genre, this classification is assigned mainly to detective novels which organize the narration by gradually unfolding the plot without observing the logic of time. The reader discovers different pieces of the puzzle, which come together at the end of the book.
Looking back at the content of my novel, I would place it in the same category, with the only difference that at the end of the third chapter, the reader will not learn who the murderer is.
