This is the story of a stray cat to whom, against her husband’s wishes, his wife, Wiwiek, insisted sight unseen of giving a home. The then 13-pound 6 to 9-month old blind stray was to be Wiwiek’s cat, but Jordie had very different ideas. Named by the son of the veterinarian who rescued him and advertised for a home, Jordie is named after the sightless Star Trek character. Although misspelled, we kept the name and changed the spelling. This is a true account of his life with us.
