Aimed at young adults and high teens, this fantasy adventure follows Harold Porter, a grieving but gifted lab technician who is caught in an implosion at his university workshop and wakes up in a disused rail-yard surrounded by 12 orphaned children who think he's their saviour, the Light-Father.

He realises that he has been given a new reason to live: to save these children from the insane Order who unleashed the Revelation Virus six years ago that killed their parents and most of mankind.

In a world of perpetual rain and drowned lands where the ice-caps have long since melted, he has barely enough time to get to know these extraordinary children before the Order of Christ the Healer and their creations, the Tally-men, appear to hunt down and 'Redeem' the last survivors of those they deem 'Unworthy'.

Harold learns that the Order has an ancient enemy known as the Motherhood; a small band of Wiccans with extraordinary powers. He realises that he has no choice but to lead them, the children and the Ferals - children mutated by the virus - to take on the Order itself in their vast stronghold, the Great Abbey, where an even greater evil awaits them - the true power behind Great-Abbot Schimrian and the Revelation of the Order.
