'Stuttgardt Notes' shows a young preacher putting himself in a precarious position and losing his first pastorate because of it. 'Bellwood' is based on the end of a life the author once knew. It chronicles the frustration and unfairness that comes with seeing a man spend his final days in a low-end nursing home. And finally, in '40-Minutes to Work' a man without purpose struggles to escape depression, alcoholism, and the lure to be done with it all. This is also the story of an answered prayer.
