Loki's Path

In the first of the Angel Saga's we follow the assignment angel that goes by the name of Loki.
Assigned to a homeless man called Jim in the City of London, England Loki must help him unlock the secrets that reside within his mind, hidden by a trauma that befell him three years earlier. Secrets that will send political shock waves across a nation.

With a millennium of experience, Loki has affected may humans on their personal paths, but is in awe of their experiences and their ability to live out their complex lives as human beings.

Angels are ill equipped to deal with the multitude of stimuli that bombard humans, every second of every day. The vastness of aromas and sounds infiltrating the human brain at any one time, the experiences of physical pain, discomfort, pleasure and multiple emotions, are part of human nature; they are not a part of an angels nature. As an Assignment Angel, Loki has learnt, over hundreds of years, how to cope with with the human form, by walking as one of them.
The story takes you from the dark dreary life of the homeless to the modern political system within the United Kingdom, unraveling a series of strange events that leads Jim down his extraordinary path of trust; a truth that implicates corruption and greed at the very top of the Government command.

The author takes the reader down a complex path, involving several characters intertwined in the mystery of Jim's mind, and challenges many contemporary beliefs about angels.
