Born in Vietnam, from a Chinese father and a Vietnamese mother, Kim grew up in Belgium and has been a Parisian since 2005. Former financial director, she is now a full-time mother.

He walked to her and placed a couple of caramel candies in her hand.

-    How are your parents doing?

-    My mom is doing very well thank you. I hope your parents are doing well too.

-    I only have my mother, but she lives in China. I live alone here.

-    You must miss her very much. I can never live far from my mom.

-    In that case, your mother will live with us.

Those were the only words they exchanged. During the months that followed, their silence spoke more than their words. After some time, my father decided to ask for my mother's hand.

Since childhood, small white fellows have danced in Linh's head. She also tormented by haunted souls. People say she is crazy. But she rises up and emerges from loneliness with surprising force nourished by an unshakeable faith in life, despite derision and betrayal.
