This book is not intended to be a clinical account of menopause, rather a result of a survey I did with post menopausal women. These beautiful women gave me valuable information about their experiences both physical and emotional and highlighted many other idiosyncrasies that we would never have connected with menopause.
This little book tells it how it is; not how the books say it is!
It was written as a conversation with you, giving brief explanations of symptoms with suggestions which are ‘do-able.’ We often read great informative books but they can be hard to comply with. I think this is much easier.
I believe that women are like Amazon warriors. Over a lifetime, our bodies experience many changes physically and emotionally with periods, contraception, pregnancy and giving birth, being many things to many people and then to cap it all off – menopause!
Current society embraces youthfulness and fitness, and aging is not thought of as a positive thing. Menopause is most times regarded as a sign of old age.
But we know better than that don’t we?
