While Midnight searches for his uncle's killer, two attempts are made on his life as well. “Midnight begins a fight for his life in darkness of the unknown.” PARIS - With a mother who hates her, and a sexually abusive step-father, Paris is determined to get to college and away from the torment. Paris meets a bad boy named Trey who sweeps her off of her feet, but in the long run brings her more pain then she can stand. After two close encounters with death, she meets Midnight who seems to bring a great serenity to her life. But, nothing good ever lasts long and with every good comes some bad. The serenity she thought she found with Midnight turned to death in a way that Paris could never see coming. Will Paris’ love be enough to keep her alive or will it kill her where she stands?
