Drama, humor, tears and the joy of traveling around the world to help others -- whether in the devastation of a tsunami, the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, or in the jungles of South America, the very people Dr. Obrecht helps teach her, in turn, much about life, living and the value of relationships. Through Doc Dawn's experiences, you may discover more about yourself and your purpose in life.

DocDawn lives in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, with her husband, Erik Landvik, where she writes and consults in addiction medicine.
