Now I’m not going to say that being a shrink is easy. Nor am I going to say that I’m the best, but I’ve got the money, and I’ve won awards. I’ve got rich clients, famous clients, and everyone in the city knows who I am. I drive a silver Bentley, I’ve got my own parking space out front; hell, I even have a model for a girlfriend. I’ve got everything I could possibly wish for. I’ve got it all, and in this line of work, well, I’ve seen it all too.

But two weeks ago, I saw some things that I still don’t quite believe. I met some ... people that weren’t quite what I’m used to, and that’s saying something. Yeah, it may be easy to tell me to forget about it, that they were just hallucinations, but they weren’t. I know they weren’t. It’s my job to know after all.

The stuff I saw that week comes under the ‘weird crazy shit’ category and I need to get it out. I need to tell someone, before I become one of the people I’m supposed to treat. So I’m breaking the rules and telling my story. I’m throwing aside doctor-patient confidentiality to let you know what happened to me. I mean, Jesus Christ, if a man came into your office claiming he was a werewolf, what the hell would you think?

Exactly, man. Exactly.
