I live in New Zealand with my husband and my little girl, 2 and a half year old girl.  I studied early childhood education in college in New Zealand and used to be a child care teacher before becoming a parent.

I am an ordinary full time mom now.  I started writing this book to develop my practices to share with others including my child.  My practices are based on, mostly, revisiting my childhood memory– since I was three years old, one of my habits was to stop and take a snap shot in my mind and head telling myself ‘this is the moment I want to remember.’  I clearly remember my intentions, emotions, thinking and feelings as a child and it is very, very useful to work with my child now.  My practices are also cultivated by my teaching experiences with the children, researching reading materials, and observing my child, myself on a daily basis, and the children and their parents.

I am sure that the practices and the suggestions in my book benefit you in developing your own insight, mind-sight, ideas, values, beliefs, practical tools, and techniques of every day parenting.
