The Rhythm of Our Life

Life is a cycle of good and evil. No matter how much we fight it, change is inevitable. Joy and sorrow, light and darknessthese are complementary. The darkest night is followed by a radiant dawn, but then again arrives the night with another glorious morning following in its wake. Human existence goes on in this way, especially for Anjali Vardhan. In her arranged marriage, young Anjali finds happiness with a husband who strives to do good in the world. Despite all the goodness they achieve together, they lose their first child to miscarriage. Anjali loses her loved ones to death. Yet, life goes on, as Anjali finds fulfillment in her career as well as a second, successful chance at motherhood. Still, life is not all laughter and joy. Struggles are the philosophers stone that would transmute the human soul to greater levels of perfection. Despite Anjalis many difficulties, she knows the unseen hand of God that rests on her back, upholding her and steadying her when she stumbles on lifes rough-hewn paths. She refuses to let despair shake the bedrock of her faith.
