This is a story told through the eyes of an ex-male escort, Jay Beau Andrews, now in his Thirties, reflects on his extraordinary life constructing an identity from surviving abuse from his stepfather, delving into a world of indulgence, then hits rock bottom as his desirability is diminishing.  Whilst a maturing Jay is trying to make a new life in the real world of ‘9 to 5’.  But his past creeps up on him where he becomes the target to cruel bullying, and discrimination, at both work and home.  This leads to being forced to move from one rented premises to another due to harassment about his history.   Overall this dramatic story discovers why he masked the emotional pain through an era of chasing addictive admiration, yet now struggles to escape his past which has branded him for life.  To Jay, once a ‘rent boy always a rent boy’.
