A mere seconds after the public acclaim for the first "When Time Flies" book quieted down, a few short minutes after the release of that book, along comes "Second Time Around." In the first book, our cartoon goose depicted "time" and answering for us some important questions about time such as, when time flies, how high or how fast does it go? And in this "Second Time Around," our character continues his antics.

For example, to portray "Spring Time," our goose goes bouncing by some colorful flowers using a springy coil for transportation. As in the first book, toward the end of the book, the reader is again given the opportunity to continue with self-created images in the "Space for Time Continuing" pages.

As with the first "Time" book, "Second Time Around" includes fun quotes from famous people as well as from the author. For example, the late Charles Schultz opimistically reminds us not to "worry about the world coming to an end. It's already tomorrow in Australia." Marilyn Monroe proudly proclaims that "I've been on a calendar, but I've never been on time." And from the author: "Dogs know what time it is, cats don't care."

Great gift book or for coffee tables and waiting rooms.

This second book in the series is in full color.
