The winged variant of the bydus volkus family is called: tessila. Though less than two inches long in the body, tessili are known to be territorial, volatile, and possessive of their human partners. A human who bonds a tessila will gain the ability to wield both active and passive magics.
Jey and Elle have joined forces with the tattered remains of the Tessilari.
