The Case of the Midnight Stranger

While everyone sleeps, a mysterious stranger moves into the old Johnson place at the edge of town. From the widow's walk at the top of the house, Amy Jo and Becky spot him sending signals to someone at the quarry a mile away. They refer to him as Reflecto Man, because he wears reflective sunglasses even at night. Later, they collect convincing evidence that the man is a criminal. But, when they approach Chief Higgins with their suspicions, he is strangely reluctant to follow through with an investigation. Against Chief Higgins strict instructions, the Pony Investigators return to the quarry where danger and capture await them.
