The Critical Eye

This book is a collection of my articles on American lifestyle and culture that have appeared in national and regional publications. They are on interesting subjects as timely today as when they were written: family life, womens roles, parenting, communication, science, aging, government, religion, race and prejudice. Some focus on the lighter side of life, finding humor in the challenges entering the world of computers and cyberspace. All are critical observations on the human condition seen through the sociological imagination aimed at engaging the readers mind and heart.
