About the Author

Daniel Slosberg has been teaching HL & SL Mathematics for the IBO since 2003, first at Centennial High School in Corona, California, USA and then at Victoria Shanghai Academy in Hong Kong, China.  It is his hope that this short book will allow students all over the globe to achieve greater success in writing their mathematical explorations so that they will be under less stress when they write their external examinations.  More importantly, however, he hopes that students reading this book enjoy mathematics and apply it usefully in their daily lives long after they have graduated from the diploma program.
