The Ride

In a stand of birch trees on the grounds of Susan and Peter’s ranch lies a door to another dimension. Inexplicably drawn to its mystery, Susan repeatedly visits this sacred circle and allows herself to be transported to another time and a past life that slowly sheds light on her current situation. Peter, too, becomes entangled in the drama unfolding on the ranch, and to his surprise discovers how the sins of long ago have shaped his relationships. Aided by his eccentric Aunt Gwen and the spirit of a medicine woman, Susan and Peter eventually piece together the puzzle that connects the two worlds. But it will ultimately be their daughter, Elly, and her Native American “sister” Rae—children of a prophecy that once bridged two warring cultures—who must stand together to heal the wounds of a tragic past.
