The Rising Wind is the first published title set in the Smokey Days universe. The Smokey Days stories depict a world where humans are caught up in the battle between two great supernatural races that ultimately threaten to consume them. Struggling to preserve themselves, humans turn their backs on their deities–but in doing so, they lose the very essence of what it means to be human.
