Brothers Grimm are one of the greatest storytellers of all times. Nowadays everybody knows their fairytales Cinderella, Rapunzel and Snow White. These stories have been adapted by many cartoon and film makers, they are available in more than 100 languages. We proudly present you one of the most wonderful tales by Grimm brothers The Twelve Dancing Princesses. Brothers learned this story from their friends the Hauxhausens, they heard the tale in Munster. There was a king, whose daughters came out every night somewhere, even though the door was always closed. Every morning he saw their shoes danced out and could not understand where they had been at night. The king promised his kingdom and each daughter to any guy, who could solve the sisters’ midnight mystery. Many men tried to discover the secret. They were entertained in the kingdom well and that’s why all they fell asleep every night and did not succeed. But once an old wounded soldier passed through the country and decided to try to solve their secret. An old strange woman gave him an enchanted coat to follow princesses unnoticed. He didn’t drink on the eve at all and pretended he fell asleep. Whether he succeeded or not you can recognize when you read the story.
