Where There is Nothing, There is God

William Butler Yeats (1865 – 1939) was an Irish poet and one of the foremost figures of 20th century literature. A pillar of both the Irish and British literary establishments, in his later years he served as an Irish Senator for two terms. Yeats is generally considered one of the twentieth century's Symbolist poet, in that he used allusive imagery and symbolic structures throughout his career. William Butler Yeats was a master of the brief stories and now you have a great opportunity to make an acquaintance with one of them. The plot of the story narrates a little wicker house where Brothers were accustomed to gather. It was a hardness winter outside which brought the brotherhood together in the little wooden house. A bit latter some of the curious children started to ask their teacher about stars in the sky, origin of stars' lightning and what is nothing, if there is nothing, probably only God? And what kind of that this nothing? This short story will compel you to think also of that.
