On Dec.5, 1951 a baby girl was born to a white mother and a black father. When the little girl was born her grandmother told her daughter that the baby girl was born with a vale over her face. When the daughter asked the mother what did that mean, the grandmother only said that her granddaughter must never have children. The grandmother ran out the room in tears. The mother and father named the little girl Alzora. Alzora was the baby girl; she had six older brothers and one older sister. The family moved to a small country town name, Shiro Texas. Alzora was a beautiful little girl with long black hair, she would always be alone in the woods walking and reciting her poetry to the animals. Alzoras mother would call for her to come home for dinner and she would not answer
