One man with a long bow sat upon the top of a little hillock. He was waiting for the chieftain's men to spy him. He heard far voices: "He is the avenger come to shoot the red eagle!" Soon four strong men ran forth from the center wigwam toward the hillock, where this man was sitting with the long bow. They reached the side of the stranger, but he didn't pay attention to them. He just looked at beautiful wigwams that were beneath him. These four men took and brought him to a chieftain. The chieftain was standing at the entrance way ready to meet the stranger. He said: "How, you are the avenger with the magic arrow!" The chieftain invited the stranger for dinner. After that the stranger covered his face with his blanket and soon he quickly lay asleep within the chieftain's teepee.
